Kapit JPJ ‘Ops Pengarah’ nets 18 errant motorists

KAPIT: The Road Transport Department’s ‘Ops Pengarah’ along the main roads here Tuesday night was aimed at educating road users on safety and reinforcing traffic rules and regulations.

During the 7:30pm to 11pm operation, 10 officers under the charge of Frederick Kedot blocked the main road and inspected 202 vehicles.
Altogether, 18 summonses were issued.
Thirteen were to drivers who did not bring along their driving licences;
three vehicles had expired road tax while two had modified engines.
